This morning was quite nice even though dad woke me up at 845am,which was way early… considering that I went to bed past midnight… Margret cooked breakfast this morning and it was absolutely wonderful! We had cereal, fruits, bacon, poached eggs and toast. It was the tastiest and hearty breakfast I’d had in a long time. Margret also gave me some recipes for shortbread and a particular orange sauce that goes with chicken, duck and I’d suppose fish.

It was another gloomy, rainy and misty day today, but I took some shots of the view from the house. After which, Dad and I waved goodbye, set off for lifeway collage in Snell’s beach. We had lunch with uncle Mike on campus, and it was very nice. I enjoyed lunch. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the company rocked!! Having filled the stomachs, we adjourned to Huhu studios to take a look around, which was very interesting… we met some of the artists who are very interesting people! After the visit, Dad, Uncle Mike and I drove back to Auckland and encountered a bit of heavy traffic. We ate dinner at a Cantonese restaurant across the road from Citylife Auckland, which was quite nice and really convenient!
I’m now back at Citylife Auckland… Mum arrives tomorrow at 1155am, hope she’s early then we will zoom down to Hamilton to stay with uncle Mike and auntie Sally for 2 nights Wednesday n Thursday, day trip to Rotorua for trout fishing on Thursday, fly to Queenstown on friday
